The Baptizer

Like his relative Jesus, not much is known about the early life of this enigmatic Bible character. 
it would seem he was raised as a Nazarite and may have spent time in the wilderness. The rest is largely conjecture, but we do have some of his words recorded for us in the Gospel writings. 
What were his true relationship with Jesus and Herod Antipas? This books makes a few suggestions!
